How to use Sublango

Install the extension, log in, set your language, choose subtitles-only or voice-over (off by default), then press Start.

Quick start

Follow these steps to get subtitles (and optional voice-over) working immediately.

Install

Add Sublango from the Chrome Web Store.

Add to Chrome

Log in

Press the login icon and sign in to your account to activate Sublango.

After login, refresh your tab.

Set language

Choose your target subtitle language in the controller.

You can change this anytime.

Refresh the tab

Reload the page you want subtitles on.

This ensures audio capture and the overlay attach correctly.

Press Start

Click ▶ Start in the on-page controller.

Subtitles appear almost instantly.

Choose output

Pick how you want to watch:

Subtitles only (default — voice-over off)
Subtitles + voice-over (spoken translation on)

How minutes work

Clear and fair: Voice-over minutes are billable and top-uppable. Subtitles are limited on Free/Pro and unlimited on Max. When you turn on voice-over, subtitles are included automatically without spending extra subtitle minutes.

What gets counted

Only spent while AI voice-over is ON and the video is playing.

Subtitles show together with voice-over at no additional subtitle cost.

You can buy additional Voice-over minutes at any time.

Subtitle minutes

When they are used

Spent in Subtitles-only mode (voice-over OFF) on Free and Pro.

Max plan includes unlimited subtitles (no subtitle minutes spent).

Subtitle minutes are not sold as add-ons — upgrade your plan for more.

Prices match your plan

Free: €1.50/hour for extra Voice-over minutes.

Pro: €1.00/hour for extra Voice-over minutes.

Max: €0.80/hour for extra Voice-over minutes.

Subtitles are unlimited on Max. On Free/Pro, subtitles are limited by the plan and not sold as add-ons.

Customize the overlay

Resize, move, and restyle subtitles to fit any content.

Drag to move

Click and drag the subtitle box to reposition it.

Resize text

Use + / − in the controller to adjust font size.

Style

Change text color and background opacity to suit your screen.

Stop anytime

Click Stop to end subtitles and voice-over for this tab.
