How to use Sublango
Install the extension, log in, choose your language, select subtitles-only or voice-over, then press Start. On unsupported platforms, Sublango can use live captions and live subtitles.
Quick start
Follow these steps to get subtitles, live captions, and optional voice-over working quickly.
Install
Add Sublango from the Chrome Web Store.
Log in
Press the login icon and sign in to activate Sublango.
Set language
Choose your subtitle or voice-over language in the controller.
Refresh if needed
If something is not working correctly, refresh the page and press Start again.
Press Start
Click ▶ Start in the on-page controller.
- Subtitles and live captions start quickly.
Choose output
Pick how you want to watch:
- Subtitles only
- Subtitles + voice-over
How plans and usage work
Simple and transparent: Demo and Pro include limited subtitle usage, including live captions and translated subtitles. Max includes voice-over and unlimited subtitles. The Unlimited Subtitles plan includes unlimited subtitles and live captions only. Extra voice-over minutes can be topped up on eligible voice-over plans. If your current plan does not include the feature you need, switch to another plan.

Customize the overlay
Resize, move, and restyle subtitles to fit any content or screen.
Drag to move
Click and drag the subtitle box anywhere on the screen.
Resize text
Use + / − in the controller to change subtitle size.
Style
Adjust text color, background opacity, and overall look to match your screen.
Stop anytime
Click Stop anytime to end subtitles and voice-over in the current tab.

We only process audio to generate subtitles, live captions, and voice-over. We do not sell personal data.
