How to use Sublango

Install the extension, log in, choose your language, select subtitles-only or voice-over, then press Start. On unsupported platforms, Sublango can use live captions and live subtitles.

Quick start

Follow these steps to get subtitles, live captions, and optional voice-over working quickly.

    Install

    Add Sublango from the Chrome Web Store.

  2. 02

    Log in

    Press the login icon and sign in to activate Sublango.

    If anything does not load correctly after login, refresh the page once.

  3. 03

    Set language

    Choose your subtitle or voice-over language in the controller.

    You can change this anytime.

  4. 04

    Choose output

    Pick how you want to watch:

    Subtitles only

    Subtitles + voice-over

  5. 05

    Press Start

    Click ▶ Start in the on-page controller.

    Subtitles and live captions start quickly.

  6. 06

    Refresh if needed

    If something is not working correctly, refresh the page and press Start again.

    Refreshing usually fixes loading or overlay issues.

Customize the overlay

Resize, move, and restyle subtitles to fit any content or screen.

Drag to move

Click and drag the subtitle box anywhere on the screen.

Resize text

Use + / − in the controller to change subtitle size.

Style

Adjust text color, background opacity, and overall look to match your screen.

Stop anytime

Click Stop anytime to end subtitles and voice-over in the current tab.

How plans and usage work

Pro: 1,500 minutes Live Subtitles. Max: Unlimited Live Subtitles. Unlimited Subtitles.

What gets counted

Voice-over

  • Voice-over minutes are only used while AI voice-over is ON and the video is playing.
  • When voice-over is active, subtitles are included automatically at no extra subtitle cost.
  • If your plan supports voice-over, you can buy extra voice-over minutes anytime.

How subtitle usage works

Subtitles & live captions

  • Pro: 1,500 minutes Live Subtitles.
  • Max includes unlimited subtitles and live captions.
  • Unlimited Subtitles plan includes unlimited subtitles and live captions, but no voice-over.

Only where voice-over is available

Voice-over top-ups

  • Pro: €1.00/hour for extra Voice-over minutes.
  • Max: €0.80/hour for extra Voice-over minutes.
  • Unlimited Subtitles plan does not include voice-over top-ups — switch plans if you need voice-over.

We only process audio to generate subtitles, live captions, and voice-over. We do not sell personal data.

  • Your audio is not recorded, stored, or reused.

Troubleshooting
